The numerical methods of analysis used in solving problems of structural mechanics by the finite element method and developed in connection with the widespread use of computers in the practice of calculations. The basic theories of matrices and linear algebra, the basic principles of the finite element method are considered. Considerable attention is paid to methods for solving systems of linear equations in static and dynamic problems of the finite element method. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the comparative characteristics of the methods in question.
