The novel by the classic of Ingush literature Idris Murtuzovich Bazorkin covers the last decade of the 19th - early 20th centuries. With great knowledge of historical material, the writer draws the hard life of the Ingush of that time, suffering from desperate need and arbitrariness of the tsarist authorities.
