This edition for the first time combines two books of one of the largest algebraists of the 20th century. A. G. Kurosh (1908-1971): "Lectures on General Algebra" and "General Algebra. Lectures of the 1969-1970 school year." The first of these books was published in 1962 and 1973, and was repeatedly translated into foreign languages. The second was published in 1970 at Moscow State University (rotaprint method), and then in 1974.
