Rare book edition of 1896, one of the first books in Russia on the repair of clockwork. The book was written by watchmaker Julius Genet based on more than thirty years of experience. The work of the famous Tiflis watchmaker, owner of the famous watch company Julius Genet in the Caucasus. This is one of the first books in Russia on the repair of clockwork. The publication includes detailed descriptions of the watch, as well as recommendations for the manufacture and repair of mechanical and even electric watches. At the beginning of the book, the author placed the craft Coat of Arms of the Watchmakers with its detailed description, printed in the technique of chromolithography, as well as a short historical sketch of watchmaking. Genet's study also included information on gilding, silver plating, nickel plating, and blackening of steel watch cases.
