The first published manual on urology consists of 13 chapters: the first 3 are devoted to general issues of urology (anatomy and physiology of genitourinary organs, symptoms and diagnosis of urological diseases), the following 8 are devoted to private urology, i.e. various urological diseases (anomalies, injuries, inflammatory processes, urolithiasis, tumors, vascular diseases, renal failure, etc.), and 2 the latter to issues of postoperative care and first (first) aid in urology. For greater convenience of using the manual, it is equipped with a short dictionary of urological terms, control questions and tasks. This manual covers the theoretical foundations of modern urology and all its practical issues, the knowledge of which is necessary for the future average medical worker. The textbook is written in accordance with the program approved by the USSR Ministry of Health, and is intended for students of medical schools.
