The book is devoted to modern problems of studying the lunar surface and the presentation of methods by which this task is solved. Information is given about the Moon as a celestial body; the structure of the lunar surface is described in detail. Krastko sets out the basics of modern lunar cartography and gives an overview of general elenographic maps of various scales. The principles of physical selenography as a new complex method of studying the nature of the lunar surface are considered.
