This book aims to contribute to the elimination of radio literacy, which harms the use of powerful technology in our country - radio. It is designed mainly for a radiologist - for a social activist who has the task of helping radio on a public line. The compilers sought to give in the book both material on the meaning of radio, on its capabilities in everyday life and on social construction, and technical information necessary in order to understand the main issues of radio broadcasting, in the choice and maintenance of a radio installation; lists of Soviet and foreign broadcasting stations are given with instructions on how to receive them; reference information on radio legislation, addresses of various radio organizations, etc.
