The translation of two sections of the fundamental study "The Conflict of Interpretations," published in the pen of the most prominent philosopher of our time, Paul Ricoeur, introduces the reader not only to the original interpretation of the texts of Freud, Nietzsche, Marx, Heidegger, Bultman, but also gives an idea of ​ ​ the methodological approach characteristic of phenomenological hermeneutics, the leading representative of which is the French thinker.
