The novel consists of 3 parts, united around the main character - Senior Sergeant Andrei Novgorodtsev. The main feature of the novel is that, according to the high specific content of hostilities and their intensity, "Two Banks" are on a par with such favorite books of Soviet youth as "The Secret Fairway" by L. Platov, "The Legend of the Small Garrison" by I. Akimov, the trilogy "And One in the Field of a Warrior" by Yu. Michailik - i.e., to be honest, are practically unbelievable.
