The monograph discusses the possibility of describing and isolating the life forms of organisms outside the framework of any morphological theory and geometric representations of forms. The limitations imposed by the geometric approach on the description and selection of life forms are considered, and a new approach to the description of life forms based on the concept of "dynamic form" is proposed. The life form is considered as an ecosystem element, the main function of which is the implementation of the material-energy flow.
