The book includes essays on the princes of Kabarda from the 16th to the first quarter of the 19th century. It was written by the famous historian Chalimat Eldarovich Kardanov (1927-2003), author of more than 500 scientific publications, 12 books and brochures. In 1997, he released the work "Kaberdey pshchi kudamehem ya tyde" ("Pedigree of Kabardian princely families"); in 2001, it was published in Russian under the name "The Way to Russia."
