The new translation of the great tragedy of W. Shakespeare was made by one of the best modern translators of English-language poetry G.M. Kruzhkov. The uniqueness of this publication lies in the fact that it includes translations of two Shakespearean versions of the tragedy (Quarto 1608 and Folio 1623), which had not previously been published in Russian. In England, as in Russia, a set of two versions was printed for a long time, which each publisher did himself arbitrarily. Only since the 80s of the XX century, textologists have divided them, publishing them separately. In the "Appendices" the reader is offered articles by A.N.
