The purpose of the publication is to create knowledge among students of the specialty 072500.62 "Costume Design" about the main positions of creating a graphic image and the skills of accurate, convincing transmission of their ideas in various types of project graphics and advertising. In this work, a technique for creating a graphic image is proposed, which uses the communicative and aesthetic capabilities of graphic means and techniques, the semantics of costume elements and stylistic options for presenting a drawing, sketch, sketch, that is, the main components of a figurative solution to the image of a person in a suit.
