One of the most remarkable monuments of ancient Egyptian art is rightly considered the portrait head of Queen Nefertiti. Almost three thousand years have passed since this portrait of a young woman arose from a piece of crystalline sandstone, but now, having seen it, it is difficult for us to tear ourselves away from it.
