"Great Germany" (German: Grosdeutschland, in some sources known as "Grossdeutschland") - an elite formation of the Wehrmacht. Created on the basis of the guard battalion, during its existence it was deployed in a tank corps. Along with some formations of the Wehrmacht and SS troops, Great Germany was one of the most effective military forces of the Third Reich.
