The book is devoted to diffraction optics and nanophotonics devices, developed by computer solution of direct and inverse diffraction problems based on Maxwell equations. Solutions to the problems were carried out both by well-known methods - the method of finite differences in the time domain and the Fourier-mode method, and by author's methods - by the method of consistent sinusoidal modes and the method of finite differences for solids of revolution.
