Arthur was almost killed, but miraculously survived, showing unusual strength. He is forced to go on a dangerous mission, during which he found out why and through whose fault the infection broke out. Not because of a virus or mutations, but because of human interference in forces previously unknown to science, and Arthur was the one who could control them like a skilled puppeteer. These forces could give everything, including world domination, and Arthur himself did not know whether he would use them.
