The monograph presents the problems of the history of state policy on the formation and consolidation of the population in the areas of the new industrial development of Siberia in the 1950-1980s, when industrialization and urbanization processes were actively taking place, which predetermined fundamental socio-economic and demographic changes in the region. In Siberia, in the second half of the twentieth century, comprehensive production and social programs of world importance were implemented. An objective assessment of historical experience in this regard is of great interest, both for replenishing scientific knowledge and modern management practice.
