Yazep Drozdovich (1888-1954), a multifaceted personality in the history of Belarusian culture, worked in various fields of art: as an artist, sculptor, ethnographer, archaeologist and teacher. He was one of the founders of national historical painting, he was called the Belarusian Leonardo da Vinci and the Belarusian Tsiolkovsky (following the Russian and Soviet scientist, a pioneer of astronautics). Drozdovich's passion for learning the secrets of the starry sky led him to create his own theory about the origin of the planets of the solar system.
