The monograph is a study that examines the history of mass forced resettlement in the 1930-1950s. in the territorial framework of the modern Komi Republic (1929-1936 - Komi Autonomous Region, 1936-1991 - Komi ASSR). All categories of special settlers resettled in Komi ("former kulaks," Polish citizens, German special settlers, members of OUN families, "Vlasovites," etc.) were analyzed. The issues of using the labor of special settlers, their legal status and social and living conditions in special settlements are disclosed. The stages of implementation of the state policy of special resettlement are shown, changes in the composition and number of special settlers are presented. The paper provides an analysis of the sources and scientific development of the topic.
