The book discusses the possible fire situation in cities affected by nuclear weapons, preventive measures to reduce the number of fires and limit their spread, as well as the basics of fire fighting tactics; information on fire extinguishers and special fire equipment is given, issues of adaptation of national economy equipment for extinguishing fires are described. The book is intended as a teaching aid for teachers of universities, technical schools and commanders of fire-fighting formations.
