The book discusses the fundamental provisions of programming: a finite quantity and various types of data constructed on its basis; control structures - elementary components of any algorithm and the basis for controlling the computing process; structuring tasks as a fundamental mechanism for their implementation on a computer; ordering (sorting) as the basis for efficient work with any data and, finally, enumeration of options, as a universal scheme for computer problem solving.
