In a monograph that is a continuation of the work "Naval mine weapons: the history of creation and combat use until 1877 "(Info-da publishing house, St. Petersburg) from a systemic perspective sets out the development of sea mines, the features and results of mine warfare and mine countermeasures at sea, the organization of mine business in the fleet. The corresponding historical context is shown, characterized by the level of development of science, technology, shipbuilding, naval and civil higher education.
