The monograph explores one of the aspects of the relationship between ancient Egypt and Nubia, namely the issue of the formation of the apparatus of the Egyptian military and civil administration in this territory. There are three stages associated with changes in the nature of Egyptian policy in this region, which ultimately led to the transformation of Nubia into an Egyptian province.
