The book of authors from the GDR addresses the issues of making paper, cardboard and films, their use in the pulp and paper industry, the creation of new materials based on paper and cardboard: packaging filtering, heat-insulating, finishing, etc. Described is production of new paper-cardboard materials, connected with application of non-traditional fibres, chemicals, methods of base paper treatment by impregnation, coating.
