This collection contains the main works of S. A. Chaplygin on wing theory. Most of the results of these works have long been firmly established in practice as the basis of wing theory. However, over time, in the works of S. A. Chaplygin, new opportunities are opening up related to new practice needs. Familiarization of a wide circle of Soviet scientists, engineers and students of higher educational institutions with the remarkable works of S. A.
