In the proposed textbook "Musical Literacy," the authors aimed to create a practical guide for working in musical literacy classes. Based on a generalization of the experience of the best teacher-musicians in Moscow and Leningrad, the authors sought to develop and present the most expedient and practically proven method of working on the development of children's musical abilities.
