The correspondence printed here with my brother began in 1945 and ended in 1974. The first of the printed letters was only a response to a letter from Vladimir Vladimirovich to my teacher and friend of my mother, Evgenia Konstantinovna Gofeld. He did not have his address then. Unfortunately, this letter has not survived.
