G. A. Gukovsky's study "Pushkin and Russian Romantics" was first published by the University of Saratov in 1946 with a litter "free" of 500 copies and then became a bibliographic rarity. Since then, this book has been practically inaccessible to the general reader. However, only after getting acquainted with all three volumes of the monumental monograph, one can fully imagine the full depth, all the significance, all the importance for modern science of the research conceived by scientists about Russian realism. The book "Pushkin and Russian Romantics" still continues to be the best study of Russian romanticism at the beginning of the 19th century.
