The book provides information on the basics of building patterns for women's light dresses. The construction of drawings of patterns of various types and styles of women's clothing is described in detail: dresses, skirts, dressing gowns; issues of choosing dress styles for various figures are covered. The book is intended for persons with basic knowledge of sewing and cutting clothes. We sought in this book to describe some points in modeling, to help a woman choose a style that corresponds to her figure and age, to show a variety of shapes for cutting a dress. In this book, along with the construction of the main pattern of the dress, the patterns of dresses are given according to the shapes of the cut, describing the main elements that characterize each cut.
