Structural diagrams of high-precision optical and optoelectronic angle meters for various purposes are given. Physical bases of angular measurement methods and methods for evaluation of their accuracy are described. Peculiarities of design and ways of improvement of typical units of high-precision angle gauges are considered, technical characteristics of domestic and foreign optical and optoelectronic angle gauges are given.
