The work of Nikolai Alekseevich Zabolotsky is relatively little known to a wide range of readers. During the life of the poet, only four collections of his original poems were published, and the first book - "Columns" - has long become a bibliographic rarity and poems of this period have never been published again. Of Zabolotsky's early poems, only one was published during his lifetime. In this edition, the work of a wonderful Soviet poet is presented with great completeness. The book includes all the most significant of those created by Zabolotsky, including poems from early collections and selected translations.
