The structure of the manual corresponds to the curriculum of the discipline "Informatics and Programming." The first part contains about 600 problems in programming theory and programming languages ​ ​ Visual Basic and Pascal. The second part (occupies more than half of the volume of the manual) includes the solution of a significant number of tasks or instructions for their solution. A short list of necessary concepts and a list of recommended references are presented.
