Ways to increase the efficiency of spraying and surfacing to restore worn parts are considered. The results of experimental-theoretical researches revealing peculiarities of gas-powder protection and process of layers formation at plasma surfacing are presented. Described is a technology for restoring specific parts of automotive engines and equipment used for this.
