On July 15, 1960, at eight o'clock thirty minutes Moscow time, Mr. Friedrich Storr, captain of the ship Julius Pickenpeck, home port Hamburg, made an official statement about the radio operator Oscar Grunnert who had not returned from the shore in the evening.
