The collection offered to the reader continues a series of chronicle-documentary publications with a single title, devoted to the problems of dedicating the village. It reconstructs the forms and methods of centralized grain procurement on the materials of Siberia, which were the most important element of the tax-tax system of Stalinist socialism. The authors pay special attention to showing the repressive component of the state's grain procurement policy, as well as to highlighting the behavioral strategies of the peasantry, including resistance.
