Mayfair is a British magazine for adult men. Founded in 1966, it was developed as a response to American magazines such as Playboy and Penthouse, which had recently launched in the UK. For years it claimed the largest distribution of any men's magazine in the UK. It is an erotic magazine and as such is available on newsstands, although some major retailers require modest packaging to hide the cover.
