The impact of laser irradiation on the structure of carbonaceous and alloyed steels, cast irons, non-ferrous metals and alloys was analyzed. The effect of various technological factors of laser treatment (coating, energy parameters, surface conditions, radiation patterns, etc.") on the structure and properties of the irradiated materials is considered.
