The fifth issue of the almanac "Feat" for 1980 included detective works: "Death of a Reporter" by G. Prokop and "Lotus Wreath" by D. H. Chase. In the novel of the famous writer from the GDR G. Prokop, the myth of the democracy of the bourgeois press is debunked, its venality and corruption, as well as close and numerous ties with the "powers that be," are revealed. The novel by the American writer D. Chase exposes the morals that existed in the so-called "high society" of Saigon during the reign of US imperialism on the land of South Vietnam.
