Bela Illes (1899-1974) - one of the founders of Hungarian socialist literature. A writer and wrestler, he, together with the Hungarian Communist Party, began his great and difficult path of struggle in the days of the Hungarian Commune of 1919. For many years B. Illesh lived and worked in the Soviet Union, conducted great public work as Secretary General of the MORP - the International Organization of Revolutionary Writers - and became known as the author of the novels "Tisza is Burning," "Carpathian Rhapsody," "All Roads Lead to Moscow" and numerous stories that appeared in the Soviet press in Russian and Hungarian in the 30s. In all his works, the autobiographical element is clearly expressed, the documentary-historical background is clearly outlined.
