A continuation of historical studies of the agrarian policy of the Soviet government in the North-East of Russia during the period of reform of the administrative-command management system and the transition to new forms of state regulation is presented. The stages of the formation and development of the agro-industrial complex of the Magadan and Kamchatka regions are considered, including the peculiarities of the reorganization of the collective farm and state farm system and the transformation of collective farms into state farms, the problem of specialization and concentration of production, material and technical re-equipment of agriculture, forms and methods of administrative and economic stimulation of labor productivity.
