"Questions of Geography" - a series of scientific thematic collections on geography, founded in 1946 on the initiative and under the leadership of N. N. Baransky at the Moscow branch of the Geographical Society of the USSR. The armament of the Baikal-Amur Railway (BAM) and the upcoming solution of major tasks for the development of huge territories of the regions of Eastern Siberia and the Far East posed a number of complex scientific science problems.
