Action novel. Tenth graders Sergey and Alena go on summer holidays to rest in the village where they grew up. Immediately upon arrival, they learn that a half-abandoned hut burned down in the village - a favorite place for their games, the owner of the hut died in the fire, another person was killed, and their friend Lyoshka lies unconscious in the hospital, mysteriously connected with this story. The guys suspect that their friend has become a victim of some kind of cruel game, and undertake an independent investigation.
