The first volume, consisting of six sections, contains general information on the rational selection and use of steels, profiles and joints, static and dynamic calculation of structural elements and systems, the use of the pre-stress effect, recommendations on the choice of effective methods of corrosion protection are given. The requirements for structures arising from taking into account the features of modern technology of manufacture, transportation, installation and the requirements of the economy are presented.
