According to the fair and characteristic judgment of the French writer Leroy Beaulieu, Russians are most interested in religion and morality, although they sometimes like to talk about politics and economy. But even in these conversations about politics and economy, the driving nerve and ultimate goal is always a moral interest, of course, sometimes falsely understood, but still, in all cases, they are certainly inherent.
