Conditions of functioning of nuclear power plants, basic requirements for them from the environment, natural and production, thermodynamic cycles of NPP and their analysis on the basis of energy and exergetic balances, indicators of thermal efficiency of real plants, basis of design of thermal schemes and structure of the main technological plants of NPP are considered.
