The heroes of the writer's new novel belong to the first post-war generation of youth. Two Moscow streets, Kropotkinskaya and Ostozhenka, converging to the same metro station, like the two fates of the main characters of the book, born and raised on these streets, are close and at the same time very different. The life roads of the heroes are constantly intertwined, time falls on their adult life for outwardly not open, but significant social upheavals.
