The collection contains materials from the regional scientific and practical conference on the history of settlement and economic and cultural development of the Lower Pricharyshye from antiquity to the present day. The publication was prepared within the framework of the research program "Cities and Villages of the Altai Territory: Historical and Cultural Heritage" and includes archival and field studies of scientists of the Altai Territory on archeology, history, ethnography, demography and culture of the region, as well as research by local historians, employees of state, educational and cultural institutions of the Ust-Pristansky district on the history and current state of the economy, ecology, education, sports and culture of the region.
