This book is intended to serve as a manual of mathematical literacy for the Red Army and military commanders. According to the task of RMP, the entire content of the book is summarized as follows: four actions on integers, decimal fractions and the most common simple fractions; the concept of approximate calculations that actually occur in practice; metric system of measures; functional dependence of variables and elements of geometric literacy.
