In 1907-1909, Jack London traveled to the South Pacific on the Snark ship, built according to the writer's own drawings. Visits to tropical islands, exotic nature, the originality of the life and customs of native tribes and the life of white immigrants inspired London to create a series of eight stories, which was called "Stories of the South Seas." The heroes of the audiobook are warlike natives and brave sailors, cruel savages and equally cruel colonialists, treasure and adventure seekers, filibusters and adventurers.
